ABOUT
The Greater NW Grand County Chamber of Commerce
(just call us Northwest Grand Chamber!)
In 2022, a group of Main Street business owners in Granby Colorado saw the need for a membership-based Chamber of Commerce to support local businesses. This need arose because the Granby Chamber of Commerce had transitioned to “Destination Granby” becoming a 501(c)(3) organization focused on tourism rather than serving as a membership-based chamber.
To fill this gap, the Greater Northwest Grand County Chamber of Commerce was established.
Chamber founder and local business owner, Autumn Bishop, was inspired by a vision to be a true Chamber of Commerce, highly respected and valued, promoting the individual entrepreneur and small businesses countywide, through amplification of message and reach, business-to-business networking, and advocacy with policy makers.
The “NW Grand Chamber” embraces, celebrates, and seeks to preserve the rural mountain ethic that is a special and valued part of the northwest side of the county. The Chamber pursues a growing and robust membership, and cultivates a strong and visionary board, to cement a place as a major stakeholder, with a seat at the table, to be included in policy discussions with local government entities and other community organizations. As the inevitable growth continues to sweep across the county, the Chamber plays a crucial role in helping to shape that growth in a way that preserves and includes the agricultural, equestrian, small-town feel, and mountain-grit legacy, that so many of us live here, stay here, and build our businesses here to enjoy, while smartly and effectively advocating for policies that help ensure the success of our member businesses for the long term.
